Claim your club

Link your login to a team page so you can host meets and manage entries.

First step for hosts: connect your account to the right club page. How you pay (Personal Pro vs Team Pro) also decides whether one person or several people can submit track meet entries for that club.

Two paid plans. Two jobs.

People often mix these up. Personal Pro is for you. Team Pro is for the whole club. Claiming a team page is not the same as buying Team Pro seats.

Personal Pro

You subscribe for yourself. You get coaching tools plus the right to claim a club page, list meets, and mark that your club is going to other invites. If the club does not have Team Pro, claiming can also make you the single meet-entry admin.

Team Pro

The club pays once. Shared seats for an owner and officers. Those roles can all submit and scratch meet entries. Multiple people, not one exclusive seat. Claiming a page is still separate from holding a Team Pro seat.

How to claim

  1. Create an account and sign in.
  2. Get Personal Pro, or join a club that already has Team Pro.
  3. Find your club on the team list or search.
  4. On the team page, click Claim team profile.

What claiming does

Claiming links your login to that club page. You can edit the profile, claim home meets, list upcoming invites, and mark other meets as going.

More than one Personal Pro user can claim the same club for profile edits. That is fine. Meet registration is stricter when the club does not have Team Pro (see below).

Who can submit meet entries

Track roster registration is separate from editing the club page. Use this section when you need to know who can open Register on an upcoming meet.

With Team Pro: multiple managers

If the club has active Team Pro, entry permission follows Team Pro roles. The owner and any officer can enter and scratch athletes. There is no single exclusive meet-entry admin while Team Pro is active. Hand the work around among officers; you do not transfer a one-seat role.

  • Owner and officers all have the same entry powers for meets.
  • Regular Team Pro members without owner/officer roles do not manage entries.
  • If Team Pro later lapses, the club falls back to the one meet-entry admin model below (NRCD can keep a fallback row for that case).

Without Team Pro: one meet-entry admin

Clubs without Team Pro get exactly one exclusive meet-entry admin. That person can submit and scratch track entries and edit roster grades on the team page. Only that person can submit and scratch official club entries for track registration. Other people may still claim the club page for profile edits, but they cannot enter the meet until the role is transferred or the club gets Team Pro.

  • How you get the seat. Usually the first active, non-site-admin person who claims the club with Personal Pro becomes the meet-entry admin.
  • Transfer by email. The current meet-entry admin can hand the seat to someone else from the club’s team page. Enter that person’s NRCD account email and confirm. NRCD looks up a matching account first. If the email is wrong or unused, nothing changes. The recipient does not need Team Pro, and they do not need to claim the page first (claiming is Personal Pro profile linking; this seat is only about who submits entries when the club has no Team Pro).
  • Open seat. If the current admin’s account is inactive, or the stored seat is only a site admin (see below), a claimer can take the seat from the team page.
  • Site admins do not occupy the seat. An NRCD site admin may still have an old team claim (for example after graduating). That does not count as the club’s exclusive meet-entry admin. Site admins can still help manage entries for support, but the club’s real claimer should hold the exclusive seat and can register the team.

Quick compare

  • Team Pro: many managers (owner + officers).
  • No Team Pro: exactly one meet-entry admin, transferable by email on the team page.

Tip: claim a past results meet as a home meet when you can. NIRCA upcoming listings expect that. A series is optional for a brand-new or one-off invite.
