The Club Coordination Council (CCC) Discord is a community space owned and operated by National Running Club Database LLC (“NRCD”) for club officers and NIRCA officers to coordinate and communicate. It is an Affiliated Platform under the NRCD Terms of Service—not an independent company—and is operated in close connection with the CRC Coaches Poll (voter coordination, officer communication, and related poll community work).

By joining or remaining in the CCC Discord, you agree to these Guidelines, the Terms of Service (as they apply to Affiliated Platforms), and the Privacy Policy. Participation also requires compliance with Discord’s Terms of Service and Discord Community Guidelines. If you are under the age of majority where you live, participate only with parent/guardian consent where required.

1. Who belongs here

  • Club officers and designated representatives of collegiate running clubs
  • NIRCA officers and other invitees approved by CCC / NRCD / Coaches Poll moderators
  • Do not share invite links broadly with people who are not officers or approved participants
  • Moderators may remove users who are no longer officers or who obtained access improperly

2. Expected conduct

  • Be professional and respectful. Disagreement is fine; personal attacks are not.
  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or sharing others’ private contact information without consent.
  • No sexual content involving minors; no non-consensual intimate imagery.
  • No spam, scams, phishing, malware, or unauthorized advertising / recruiting for competing products.
  • Do not impersonate clubs, NIRCA, NRCD, the CRC Coaches Poll, or other people.
  • Keep channels on-topic where channel topics are defined; use designated channels for jokes/off-topic if provided.
  • Do not use the server to organize vote manipulation for the CRC Coaches Poll or to evade NRCD site bans.

3. Confidentiality and screenshots

Treat operational discussions as semi-private community coordination, not press releases. Do not publish private channel contents, personal data, or unfinished plans outside the server without permission from the people involved, except when required by law or to report safety threats to moderators/Discord/law enforcement.

Assume messages may be visible to moderators and, where necessary for safety or abuse investigations, to NRCD / Coaches Poll administrators.

4. NRCD database and poll data

Information from the National Running Club Database (including athlete names and teams) may appear in discussions and may be used by NRCD across Affiliated Platforms, including the CRC Coaches Poll, as described in the Terms. Do not scrape Discord or the database to build competing products, train models, or harass athletes.

5. Moderation and enforcement

NRCD and designated CCC / Coaches Poll moderators may warn, mute, kick, ban, delete messages, or restrict channels for violations of these Guidelines, the Terms, or Discord’s rules. Decisions may be made without prior notice when needed for safety. Repeated or severe violations may also affect NRCD website accounts (including suspension).

Moderation decisions are discretionary community-management actions, not formal legal adjudications. Serious legal disputes remain subject to the Terms’ dispute-resolution section. CCC / Coaches Poll operational moderation does not replace Discord Trust & Safety or law enforcement.

6. Reporting and contact

CCC Discord & CRC Coaches Poll (operational): report issues to server moderators via Discord, or email nircacoachespoll@gmail.com (subject lines such as “CCC Discord” or “CRC Coaches Poll”). This is NRCD’s supplementary inbox for poll and CCC matters.

For imminent safety threats, contact local emergency services and Discord Trust & Safety as appropriate.

7. Changes

We may update these Guidelines. For existing NRCD users, material changes follow the Terms’ notice approach when practical. New Discord participants agree to the Guidelines in force when they join. Continued participation after an effective date for your account constitutes acceptance.
