NRCD Power Rankings
Pure analytics from race results — a virtual national meet from each team’s best marks season-to-date (through the selected date). Clubs stay ranked even if they did not race that week. Not a coaches poll. Compare with the CRC Coaches Poll.
Championship team bids by region
Regional place decided the championship race by 2018. 2021 was waived. 2022 counted again. Bid counts here are 2024 and 2025. Club Leader Guide.
2026 championship bids are not in the published tables on file (2024, 2025). The regional board still ranks this season.

View plansHow it works
- Each board is season-to-date: best marks from the season start through the selected Monday — teams do not need to race every week to stay ranked.
- Regional re-scores that virtual meet using only clubs in one NIRCA region, so places (and XC scores) are among that region. On cross country, a line marks NIRCA’s automatic championship-team bids when that season’s table is published. Men’s and women’s bid counts differ; 2024 and 2025 are the seasons on file.
- XC: each athlete’s best mark in-window is converted to championship distance (8k men / 6k women), then scored like a national XC meet (top 5 place score; runners 6–7 displace). With Adjust for race conditions on (default), weather, elevation, and measured length apply first; turn it off to convert posted marks to championship distance only. Open How scored on a row for that team’s place, name, time, and points. The avg top 5 column is that championship-equiv average.
- Indoor / outdoor: NIRCA-style 10–8–6–5–4–3–2–1 place points across running, relays, and field. Running marks convert across distances when possible; relays and field use each team/athlete’s best mark in that event. Race-condition adjust (default on) normalizes venue/weather where details exist; off uses posted marks. Open How scored on a row for that team’s event-by-event points. Indoor meets only on the indoor board; outdoor meets only on outdoor.
- XC marks Aug 1+, boards Sep 1–Nov 15. Indoor Dec 1–Mar 15. Outdoor marks Jan 1+, boards Apr 1–May 15.
XC scoring distance: 8000m (8k). Conversion riegel-v4.
